UBD being implemented among Freshmen

Recognizing the importance of updating the curriculum offering for continued improvement in the quality of education it offers. GJC implemented this school year the 2010 Secondary Education Curriculum which is anchored on the framework of Understanding By Design better known as UBD.
The first year students are presently enjoying this new curriculum which focuses on the essential lessons designed for more enduring understanding.

A total of 52 GJCIans participated in the 10th National Youth Congress of the Private Secondary School Administrators Association of the Philippines(PRISSAAP) held at the Teacher's Camp, Baguio City last July 1-3, 2010.
Aside from attending seminars and workshops, these GJCians also participated in diferrent contests which were part of the three-day seminar.
GJCians obtain the over-all championship in NEPPESA Quiz Bee

GJCians again proved their worth as they bagged the over – all championship in the CD IV andDivision Levels of NEPPESA Quiz Bee. Ten out of seventeen GJCians won in the Division NEPPESA Quiz Bee held at Holy Rosary Colleges Foundation last January 22, 2010. In English, Vincent Morlie R. Tolentino(Grade 4) took second place while Jordan Neil N. Sta. Maria(Grade 1) won third place, Elisha James B. Bautista (Prep)
